Toronto, Canada – April 24, 2015 – Excellerate (www.engagerx.org) has been named a finalist in LTEN Excellence Awards in the category Learning Content for its mobile learning program EngageRx: The 3 Keys to Patient-focused Growth. LTEN is honoring best-in-class learning and development initiatives within the life sciences. The 2015 award winners will be announced during the June 3 general session at the 44th LTEN Annual Conference (www.LTENconference.com), the largest gathering of life science trainers and educators in the United States, taking place in Phoenix.
EngageRx was created to respond to the challenges pharma reps have gaining time, access and influence to grow their sales. It teaches them why and how focusing on the patient and not ‘the sale’ is the pathway to greatness for the modern pharma rep. Through an engaging 15-week mobile program participants learn how to grow faster by becoming a trusted, valued partner to healthcare providers and gives them a system of what to say and do to change health care behavior. In the end, participants feel confident that they can make a difference and proud that what they do matters.
The LTEN Excellence Awards is the premier awards program in the United States recognizing innovation and leadership within the life sciences training and development community. Through the LTEN Excellence Awards competition, practitioners and suppliers enter learning initiatives and training content in various categories for recognition of excellence. Awards categories include: Innovation, Learning Content, Emerging Leader, Partnership and Pinnacle. Finalists are selected by a diverse group of experienced judges and, from that group of finalists, one winner from each category is selected.

Different from other pharma training programs, EngageRx starts by leading learners through their own motivations, helping them answer the question ‘why are you in pharma’ which, for many, underscores the need for a patient-centric focus. From there it takes on the issue of how to ethically influence behavior change in healthcare and as well as how to be the person who can best engage others authentically. Participants learn how to engage and influence ethically and effectively to create better outcomes for themselves, their company, healthcare professionals and most importantly… patients.
